Warehouse and OT Flooring

Warehouse and OT Flooring

Warehouse and storage facilities require flooring that can meet the demands dictated by the many ongoing activities that take place within them. On any given day, a busy warehouse is likely to have forklift or pallet truck traffic carrying heavy loads. Oftentimes, pallets and boxes are dragged across the floor. Warehouses may also require a presentable environment for tours, customers, and workers. Managers of warehouse or storage structures must consider exactly what is being stored in the facility. For example, if the building is housing any corrosive chemicals, explosive powders, sensitive electronics or liquids, they will require warehouse floor covering that contributes to safety and static control. In other instances, a medical supply warehouse may need antimicrobial and highly chemical resistant floors, while industrial food storage facilities will require warehouse flooring that is USDA-compliant.
